A look at life in the 60s

Here are 25 things we missed out on (or maybe a walk down memory lane for some) and some things that are still here but first appeared in the '60s.

1.
These were everywhere and it was no big deal for kids to buy them (for their parents)

Patterns and materials were cheap so a lot of girls made their own clothes

Almost everything had a prize or tickets for redeemable things like glasses, bowls, and household stuff.

By the time I saw Captain Kangaroo he was quite beefier

I Think these are still around.

These were the girls' GYM suits!!!
